2nd NM Combo Auction Tag Sold!

The 2nd NM Combo Auction Tag was just sold at the Dallas, Texas RMEF Banquet last Saturday.

It sold for a measly $60,000!

Amazing. This tag brought in about 170K and 140K last year and even the 1st tag this year brought in 135K. On average that's about 60% off retail price! The prices of the most recent tags reflect the state of the economy pretty well and it reminds us that almost no one is exempt from feeling the heat.

The man who got this beautiful deal: Mike Gallo. I believe he will be hiring us again for the antelope portion of the tag. I can't wait to go scouting!

Glad to see Mike get this tag since he missed out on the one earlier this year. What a bargin for this tag. Any word on who bought the 1st one? Good Luck with Mike again this year!!!

Still not sure who bought the first tag or who he's planning to hire for each species. It will be interesting to see what he ends up taking!

I know NM can hold a world record - hopefully this is the year and hopefully we can find it! :)

are your hunts harder to sell this year?

So far they have been slightly harder to sell than in years past, but I'm expecting us to sell all of them before the hunts begin. It just might take longer this year.

Usually we're sold out by January. This year we have about 1/3 left right now, but we have about 5 1/2 months to sell them all! That's a lot of time. :)

And, just to irk the hunters who are shelving their hunts for future years, we're probably going to have our best year ever! **fingers crossed**
